Another Happy Client

I have been working with a first-time home buyer lately who is a nurse.  We got into talking about our careers and how in both lines of work you really have to love what you do.  I love what I do.  Of course the hours are long and  some days are much better than others but in the end, there is nothing better than helping people reach their real estate goals.  Yesterday I received this email from a past client.

The dedication of Tyler Laird and his unique way of listening to the customer was most appreciated and you are fortunate, to have someone of his caliber, as part of your team.  Not only was he a salesmen, but at times a counsellor and rose to the challenge of each of these roles.  It was due to his persistence that I now have, a home that I thoroughly enjoy and might I say, love.

First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit

The costs associated with purchasing a home, such as legal fees, disbursements and land transfer taxes, can be a particular burden for first-time homebuyers who must pay these costs, as well as save money for a down payment. To assist first-time homebuyers with the costs associated with the purchase of a home, the Government of Canada introduced a FTHB Tax Credit in 2009 — a $5,000 non-refundable income tax credit amount on a qualifying home. It’s SOHO Yo!

The condo market in Ottawa is with out a doubt booming and there are ton of options. Some examples are 101 Richmond, 111 West and Qwest by Aschroft, 131 Holland and HOM by Domicile, Tribeca and Claridge Plaza by of course Claridge, the Merit by Charlesfort, Central Phases 1, 2 and 3 by Urban Capital and of course, my personal favourites, SOHO Parkway, SOHO Lisgar and SOHO Champagne.
